Designed for teachers, educators, school and service leaders, and RAP Working Group members, these workshops will support you to champion reconciliation in your communities and develop the knowledge, strategies and tools to foster inclusive and culturally responsive learning environments, with a strong emphasis on RAP development. 

Narragunnawali Workshops are interactive and limited to 25 participants to ensure meaningful engagement. Join us for one of our online workshops to chat, discuss and collaborate in breakout rooms. While the sessions are not recorded, you will receive a certificate of participation once you complete the workshop. Plus, you’ll have the chance to build reconciliation networks through sharing meaningful conversations and ideas with other educators. Workshops start from $100 plus GST & booking fee, and tickets are available through our workshops page. 

We are expanding our range of workshops to further support teachers, educators, school and service leaders and RAP Working Group members. Reconciliation Australia is a NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accredited provider of professional learning. Participation in these workshops counts toward Elective Professional Development hours, subject to state and territory accreditation requirements.

Introduction to Reconciliation in Education   

This workshop is a great starting point when learning and teaching about reconciliation in Australia and in an Australian education setting. Participants explore the five dimensions of reconciliation, examine historical and contemporary efforts, and connect reconciliation with educational outcomes. You will also learn to navigate the Narragunnawali platform and reflect on your role in fostering cultural understanding within your learning communities. 

Developing a Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan   

Designed for schools and early learning services developing their first RAP, this session guides you through the RAP framework, its lifecycle and key steps for successful implementation. You will also access resources that support meaningful engagement with reconciliation. 

Refreshing a Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan   

For schools and early learning services updating an existing RAP, this workshop focuses on reviewing and renewing commitments to reconciliation. Participants explore strategies for strengthening reconciliation efforts, tracking progress and maintaining accountability using available tools and resources.
