Apply for the Narragunnawali Awards 2021

Applications for the Narragunnawali Awards 2021 are open until midnight on Friday 30 April! Your school or early learning service could be nationally recognised for your reconciliation in education initiatives, rewarded with a $10,000 cash prize as well as media and promotional opportunities.

Who can apply

Any school or early learning service can apply for a Narragunnawali Award but the school or early learning service needs to have a published Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) when the application is submitted. If you haven’t yet developed a RAP, you can do so Narragunnawali.org.au.

How to start an application

To start an application, members of the school or early learning service’s RAP Working Group can follow prompts under the ‘Your RAP’ tab when logged into the Narragunnawali platform.

If the school or early learning service is part of a Cluster RAP, you may only apply as an individual school or early learning service.

Register for an Awards information webinar

We will host two live webinars about the Awards and the application process for both early learning services and schools.

Both webinars will feature winners of the Narragunnawali Awards 2019; will describe the application process; and provide opportunities to ask questions of the Narragunnawali team and previous winners.

  • Wednesday 4 February 10am AEDT:  Early Learning Services Webinar with special guest Amy Shine, Forbes Preschool, winners of the 2019, Early Learning category.
  • Thursday 5 February 3:30pm AEDT: Schools Webinar: with special guest Liza Hamilton, Maclean High School, winners of the 2019 Schools category.

Both webinars will be recorded and available on the webinars page of the Narragunnawali platform.
