Narragunnawali featured in ACER’s new National Wellbeing Guide

We are pleased to share that Reconciliation Australia’s Narragunnawali: Reconciliation in Education program has been featured in the newly launched ACER Wellbeing Program Guide – a national directory designed to support the social, emotional and psychological wellbeing of students across Australia.
The guide, developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) in partnership with the Tasmanian Department of Health, serves as a comprehensive resource for schools seeking evidence-based wellbeing programs. Launched in May 2025, the online platform presents over 150 initiatives that promote positive relationships, cultural responsiveness, and resilience in school settings.
Narragunnawali has been recognised for its strength in supporting a whole-school approach to wellbeing and reconciliation. The ACER listing notes:
“The Narragunnawali program aligns with the evidence-based need for wellbeing initiatives to be integrated into a systemic whole-school approach.”
This recognition affirms what many educators, learners and communities already know – that reconciliation and wellbeing are deeply connected. Narragunnawali supports schools to think critically and act meaningfully in this space, creating environments where all students, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, feel seen, heard, and valued.
The Narragunnawali team is proud to be included alongside other impactful programs in the ACER directory and remains committed to supporting schools and services on their reconciliation journeys.
